What Is PokéBonk?

PokéBonk is a free browser survivor by Charcher, not Pokémon Bank or an official Nintendo release. The author name comes from the official legal page, the version from version.json, and the 151-species roster filter from the client bundle, checked on 21 October 2026.

The game, in one sitting

You pick a starter and survive waves in a 3D browser scene. Classic mode, called Clásico in the official copy, is zones, guardians, and a sanctuary. Survival mode, Supervivencia, is endless hordes and milestones, and it does not ask you to pick Normal, Hard, or Nightmare. Those three difficulties belong to Classic only.

During a run you take one of three upgrades, catch with Poké Balls, evolve, and spend an Ultimate on the R key by default. I wrote the key list on the controls page from the bundle defaults, not from memory.

Who made it, and who did not

The legal page names Charcher. The public Discord invite is discord.gg/X7KusQqx8X, and the author posts on X as @ImCharcher. Pokémon names and creatures belong to Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, and The Pokémon Company. This guide is a separate site. We do not operate the game.

The project describes itself as non-profit: no ads, no in-app purchases, no donations. Sprite art used inside the game is credited to PMD SpriteCollab under CC BY-NC 4.0. I do not republish those sprites here.

Numbers I will stand behind

The full public pokemon.json has 1,025 records, while the v0.7.10 client filter selects 151 Kanto species. Its bundled roster has 79 League starting members, with evolutions counted separately in the Pokédex. The source type matrix has 18 types; items.json has 125 records, of which 102 have chest gameplay definitions in the bundle.

The same bundled configuration selects forest and desert. This is a versioned configuration snapshot, not a live availability promise: at 00:03 UTC on 21 October 2026 the status API reported season.live false, after the season end at 00:00 UTC. The maps and updates pages keep configuration and season status separate.
