Squirtle in PokéBonk
Squirtle is id 7, Water, captureRate 45, BST 314. Defense is the high number on the first stage: 65, against Charmander’s 43. The flavor line says that when it feels threatened it hides in its shell and spits water. I translated that from the Spanish field in the file.
Wartortle and Blastoise
Wartortle (id 8) is 59/63/80/65/80/58, BST 405, evoFrom 7, evoLevel 16. Blastoise (id 9) is 79/83/100/85/105/78, BST 530, evoFrom 8, evoLevel 36, still a single Water type. The file does not add a second type at the end, unlike Charizard.
Do not mix the two level columns
Sixteen and 36 are what pokemon.json stores. The in-run clamp computes starter middles at 24 and Blastoise at 44. These are code-derived thresholds, not a timed run record. The starter comparison recommends Squirtle for a defensive first-run preference from its passive, not from an invented clear-speed result.
Torrent Shell grants +15 armor and +20 shield, with +40% damage below 40% HP. The official kit is Water Gun, Bubble, Rapid Spin and Hydro Pump. Rapid Spin adds Normal-type damage alongside Water; it is distinct from the wider source learnset below. Armor reduction is armor / (armor + 45), so +15 armor does not mean a flat 15% damage reduction.

Build planning from the official kit
The Squirtle League line uses Water Gun, Bubble, Rapid Spin, Hydro Pump. Its passive key is torrent-shell. This is the curated kit, not a promise that every source-learnset move appears in a run.
Type-only defensive weaknesses: Grass 1.35×; Electric 1.35×. These are calculated before abilities, armor, items and the incoming-damage clamp. Use the matchup calculator for a particular enemy; use the Lab calculator to budget permanent upgrades. This is untested build planning, not a claimed clear or measured DPS build.
